Tips For Marketing Your Rental Property
Tips For Marketing Your Rental Property
Once you have made your property rent ready, it’s time to share it with the world through effective marketing.
Here are 5 pro tips for marketing your rental property.
Tips #1 & #2
Post on the internet but beware of scammers. Most renters and buyers today do all their hunting from home on the internet. There are a lot of free sites and there are a lot of paid sites. It would be best to utilize both and post your property in as many places as possible. But beware of free sites because there are many scammers out there that will try to take advantage of you.
Tip #3
Post an accurate description of your property. You don’t want to advertise something that is misleading for many reasons. So be sure to write an accurate description that sounds inviting and informative.
Tip #4
Add quality photos. Pictures of vacant rooms attract more attention than pictures of rooms still furnished. Tenants want to know that they can move in as soon as possible and pictures of an empty property help do that. Make sure your property is well lit and you get as much of the property as you can in each photo. Wide angle lenses help accomplish this.
Tip #5
Utilize an application process. There are many sites that help accomplish this but do your research because some are better than others. When someone shows interest in your property, they need to be able to fill out an application so you can assure you’re getting a qualified tenant for your property.
